ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

I've been drawing since I can remember and have always known this is what I want to do with my life. I grew up across the western United States. My family had wandering feet, and we lived in twenty odd houses while I was little. Wherever we went we took our menagerie of pets, and animals still find their way into my work whenever they can.

I was incredibly fortunate to have two parents who not only encouraged me to draw to my heart's content, but to also pursue art as a career. I attended Union College, in Lincoln, NE and graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in studio art and an A.S. in graphic design. I now work as a freelance illustrator and artist, and live in New Mexico with my husband David and our orange cat Fergus.
